Hi everyone! I'm Oluchi, a makeup artist and aesthetician, and today I'm excited to share my detailed review of several Skin Rocks skincare products. I've been fortunate enough to be on their PR list, but the four products I'm featuring today are the ones I've consistently incorporated into my routine and can genuinely speak about. I'll be walking you through each product in order of application, offering my honest thoughts and experiences. Let's get started!
The Skin Rocks Cleanse is a luxurious cream cleanser designed to gently purify the skin without stripping away its natural protective barrier. Cream cleansers are generally known for their gentle approach, and this one claims suitability for all skin types. My experience, however, suggests it's best suited for specific skin types and seasons.
I first received this cleanser earlier this year during the peak of a harsh, dry winter. It was an absolute lifesaver! My skin was incredibly parched, and this cleanser provided the much-needed hydration while effectively removing makeup and grime. The subtle, pleasant fragrance and rich, luxurious texture elevated my cleansing routine to a pampering experience. A little goes a long way, making the £32 price tag for 125ml feel more justifiable.
My cleansing ritual with this product involves massaging a small amount onto my damp face and then removing it with a warm, damp cloth before rinsing thoroughly. During those colder months, this cleanser became a staple, preventing the excessive dryness I often experience with foaming cleansers and keeping my skin feeling comfortable and balanced.
However, as the seasons changed and summer arrived, my skin transitioned to a more oily state. I've found myself reaching for this cleanser less frequently. It's simply too rich for my current skin needs in a warmer, more humid climate. I still incorporate it occasionally when my skin feels a little dehydrated, but it's definitely not an everyday product for me anymore.
Final Verdict: The Skin Rocks Cleanse is a fantastic option for those with dry or compromised skin, especially during harsh weather conditions. If you struggle with stripping cleansers or have a sensitive skin barrier, this could be a game-changer. However, if you have oily skin, particularly in a humid climate, you might find it a bit heavy.

Next up is The Tone, Skin Rocks' BHA exfoliating toner formulated for congested skin. It contains 2% BHA to help decongest and clarify the complexion. Full transparency: this bottle is still quite full. I've only used it a handful of times, maybe three at most. It's not that it didn't work, but I have other toners in my routine that I prefer and deliver more noticeable results for my skin.
I tend to reach for this toner only when I remember it's there. It's a decent exfoliating toner, particularly for oily skin types due to the BHA, but it hasn't blown me away. Skin Rocks also offers a milder BHA toner designed for sensitive or dry skin, which I've tried in the past but ultimately gave away. This stronger version, however, hasn't quite clicked with me.
I'm considering reintroducing it into my routine for a dedicated period, using it specifically as an exfoliant, to see if it can perform on par with my current favorites. But for now, my experience has been underwhelming. It's possible I haven't given it a fair chance, but it's not currently a staple in my skincare arsenal.
Final Verdict: While The Tone might be effective for some, particularly those with oily and congested skin, it hasn't become a personal favorite. I plan to experiment further to see if it can earn a more permanent place in my routine.

Moving on to Protect, Skin Rocks' newest addition – an antioxidant face serum. This is the product I've been most excited to try, and I've been using it consistently for a while now. Antioxidants are essential for protecting the skin from environmental damage, and I'm always searching for effective formulas.
This serum has a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it feeling smooth and hydrated. It layers beautifully under makeup without causing any pilling. I've noticed a definite improvement in my skin's overall brightness and evenness since incorporating this serum into my routine. It's still relatively early to make definitive claims, but I'm optimistic that with continued use, I'll see even more significant results in terms of reducing fine lines and preventing future damage.
Final Verdict: The Protect antioxidant serum is a promising addition to the Skin Rocks line. Its lightweight texture, noticeable brightening effects, and seamless integration into my routine have made it a new favorite. While the price point is higher, I believe it's justified for a potent antioxidant serum, and I will definitely be repurchasing.

Last but not least, we have The Moisturizer, a face cream designed for all skin types. This is a no-frills, fragrance-free moisturizer that delivers basic hydration without any irritation. It's a great option for sensitive skin or those who prefer a minimalist approach to skincare.
The texture is creamy but not heavy, absorbing quickly without leaving a greasy residue. It provides a good base for makeup and keeps my skin feeling comfortable throughout the day. While it doesn't offer any targeted treatments or active ingredients, it excels at providing essential moisture.
Final Verdict: The Moisturizer is a reliable, everyday moisturizer that I can always count on. It's not the most exciting product in the Skin Rocks lineup, but it's a solid choice for those seeking simple, effective hydration without any unnecessary extras.

Overall, Skin Rocks offers a range of high-quality skincare products with a focus on gentle yet effective formulations. While some products, like The Cleanse and The Tone, haven't become staples in my routine, others, like the Protect serum and The Moisturizer, have definitely earned a permanent spot. The brand's commitment to quality is evident in the luxurious textures and thoughtful formulations. While the price point might be a barrier for some, the performance and longevity of these products make them worth considering for those seeking a premium skincare experience.
