my van is in the shop, so I’m renting an apartment👇🏻 Welllllllll, I signed a 3 month lease in BEND, OREGON!!! Now, my van won’t take that long to fix (hopefully), but I did want to take this opportunity as a longer reset. I’ve been go to go for so long now, that I’ve started to lose sight of what I want. For the last year I’ve just been sort of aimlessly driving around chasing home and it’s not really working for me. So I need to shock my system a bit… so I decided to rent a place in Bend, Oregon. This way, instead of focusing on where to sleep every night, I can take a step back and really understand what I want. It feels weird tho as a van lifer to “pay rent” because rent I guess has always been the enemy and for some reason feels wrong, but then again, I have no idea where I want to live, so rent is my option right now! I’ve always been curious about this city, and I’m excited to “try it on” to see if it could be a future home 💖💖 So while I’m not done with van life (NO WAY), I’m very excited to explore something I haven’t done in a very long time. Live in a house for longer than a few weeks on my own. also huge shoutout to Geico because the process to fix my van has been SO EASY. Most of you might see this and think it’s only a dent, but there’s actually a hole in the van & they need to replace the whole panel.
