VAN TOUR: solo van life w/ a cat in a ford transit👇🏻 I’ve been doing solo van life for the last four years with my cat, Atlas & here’s where we live! So welcome to a rapid speed tour. Back in 2021, I left my comfy, corporate job & city life in Chicago to take a risk to live in a van alone with my two cats, Atlas & Otto. I was supposed to only be gone a year and go back to my old life… but in reality, I was starting over. Four and a half years & two rigs later… and I am still living this way. LMK if you have any questions or need help deciding between what you want. Really happy to help! Van: 2022 Ford Transit 148 • this is my second ford transit rig and IMO, the BEST vehicle option I love my transit so much. Van Includes: • Headliner for extra storage • Litterbox w/ built in fan • Snowboard rack (built from Velcro) • Outdoor shower • 500 amp hours of self-heating batteries @battlebornbatteries • 3000w inverter • 450w of solar • Single burner butane camp stove • 6-Way Bench w/ Litterbox, Toilet, Heater, Work Station • Toilet: Waterless, Urine Diverting Toilet from @separettusa • Fridge 85L from Vitrifrigo (not my fave, I perfer Isotherm) • Flare Extenders from @_flarespace_ • Safari Rack & Ladder from @flatlinevanco • Surf board rack @aluminess • Massive garage for backpacking, snowboarding & paddle boarding • Heater for winter van life • 20 Gal water tank (but I wish it was 30) • fans to keep the cats nice and cool Things I wish I could fix (or will fix soon): • 30 gal water tank instead of 20 • Roll out garage instead of just placing items in • Walkable solar panels on roof (didn’t exist when my van was built) I personally didn’t built my van but the woman owned & operated company @damevanco @kensiewest did! Her work is AMAZING. Highly recommend. thanks for helping me film this video: @braybraywoowoo #fordtransitbuild #vanlife #vanbuild #solovanlife
