At the beginning of October, I planned a little “see you later” afternoon with my girls. We made pottery, talked for hours, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and soaked up every moment together. As our time came to an end, they extended their hands and prayed over me, my family, and this new season we’re stepping into. Tears were shed because right there, I was standing in the middle of an answered prayer. For years, I had prayed for God to send women into my life who loved Him and wanted to do life together. He so graciously did. And while it was hard to understand why He would call me to move away from them, the Holy Spirit gently reminded me: you’re not leaving community.. you built it. He showed me that I am capable of cultivating connection wherever He sends me, and that truth brought so much peace to my heart 🤍 If you’re reading this and longing for Godly friendships, start by praying. Ask the Lord to surround you with people who will point you closer to Him. And don’t be afraid to take the first step: start a Bible study, attend one, reach out to that girl whose faith inspires you. Sometimes, the friendships you’re praying for begin when you move in faith. Life is so much sweeter when you walk it in community ✨
