Posts like these are not intended to make anyone feel bad... I totally understand why soaking the brushes would seem like a good idea. Makeup is hard to get out of the bristles! Instead of soaking them: wet them, lather them up with your preferred brush shampoo, and then lay them on their side for a few minutes to let the soap start to break down the makeup inside before you rinse This technique makes them come clean much better! You may need to do a few rounds for extra difficult brushes (like your foundation brush)
