This is what I’ve learned after six years in this industry. 🫶🏼Everyone’s story is different but it doesn’t hurt to diversify your income. I give myself grace though. I always knew this in the back of my mind, but I was pregnant back to back, going through postpartum, and in a relationship that wasn’t good for me. How could I have known where I was gonna end up, or that I’d need more stability down the line? With fixed expenses and real life responsibilities, it’s genuinely hard to build a solid future on brand partnerships alone especially when things happen like late invoices or slow months. It’s tricky. No one is immune to life. Things happen. And I think it’s so important for us as creators to have a safety net. I hope this helps.
