Should I make this a series? I’ve learned a lot of home reno tips and tricks (and mostly how to not get screwed over my contractors but I digress) and I feel like I need to share them with you all. If you’ve ever drilled a pilot hole too thick then you’ll know how annoying it is to have misjudged your drill bit. Now, I just grab the closest Amazon cardboard box (because they’re everywhere lol) and do a test pilot hole first. Saves me time from examining and mulling over every drill bit in my kit.
