One thing about me is I’m going to obsess over a process until I perfect it. After feedback from you all during my laundry stained-crisis cleanings, I finally have my laundry dialed in. Comment LINKS & I’ll sent you my essentials: • A second washer & dryer if you have the space & budget. It’s been one of the biggest time savers for my cleaners • A front-load washer door prop. It’s only about $10 & it keeps the door slightly cracked open to prevent moisture & mold when not in use • Multiple stain removers. I keep Shout, Fels-Naptha, Messy Mouth Spray, and Folex because they each tackle different stains and sometimes I need to use combos of them. • OxiClean Odor Blasters. I’m usually not a fan of scented products, but this is the one exception. After heavy stain treatment, it helps eliminate any lingering traces. • A complete backup set of linens for every bed (including the comforter, duvet cover, sheets, throw blankets, mattress protector... everything). Store them in breathable linen bags. If the power goes out (which happens way too often at our desert house) or you have a same-day turn and there’s you’ll be glad you have backup. • Lint rollers. Lots of them. We have our cleaners do one quick pass over every comforter and pillow before guests arrive. • Tide Pet Hair dryer sheets (the scent-free ones). I normally avoid dryer sheets, but these are the exception. We don’t always use them, but they’re helpful after a guest brings a dog. • Splurge on your comforter. Ours was expensive, but guests mention it constantly. Nobody likes a cheap comforter. Everyone remembers a cozy one. • Give guests pillow options. We offer cotton-filled, feather-filled, and a firmer memory foam pillow in the closet so everyone has an option. • Double-protect your mattress. I use a fully enclosed mattress protector, a fitted mattress protector on top of that, and then a cotton mattress topper for comfort • My hill to die on: a quality innerspring mattress beats a mattress in a bag every time. I have a memory foam mattress in my LA house that I like a lot but investing in a super high quality matress makes a massive difference in
