Doing my makeup to look like my 2010s emo self while reviewing Mile End Kicks @mileendkicksmovie because this film screamed NOSTALGIA 🎸🖤 Chandler Levack @clevack directed something really special here — it spoke to every emo, indie, concert-going girl who lived on Tumblr and attended shows like it was a religion. Barbie Ferreira @barbieferreira is phenomenal. The music, the love triangle, taking up space in male dominated spaces, the concert scenes — i was obsessed with the lighting. Four stars, already one of my favorites of the year. In theaters April 17th — will you be watching?
