Spicule Day in my pro aging routine for dry, dehydrated skin over 40. This night starts with a gentle double cleanse. I do incorporate a few calming products for redness, but they are supportive, not essential. The focus is the spicules. Spicules are microscopic needle like structures derived from marine sponges or silica. Think of them as a liquid microneedling effect. They create tiny pathways in the skin that help stimulate collagen and improve the absorption of your active ingredients over time. This supports smoother texture, firmer skin, and long term skin resilience. Important notes. Do not use spicules around the eyes or on the neck. If you are using prescription retinoids, consult your dermatologist before incorporating them. This is an advanced step and not something to combine casually with strong actives. The full routine is at the end and the products for this video are in my LTK. This is one day from my complete 7 day pro aging routine designed specifically for dry, dehydrated skin over 40. #proagingskincare #skincareover40 #dryskincareroutine #antiagingskincare #estheticianapproved skinbarrierrepair
