The new Loewe campaign brought back such fond memories of styling Sissy Spacek. I pulled together a few photos I could find from the personal appearances, and award shows we worked on together in the early 2000’s. She was always authentically herself—effortless, natural, and completely uninterested in following trends. She loved men’s-inspired suits, little makeup, no nail polish, and natural hair. Eventually, I convinced her to wear a gown and later a skirt and jacket for the Golden Globes and Oscars. As a stylist, my goal was never to change her. It was to enhance what made her unique. Sissy understood something that still feels relevant today: true style comes from being comfortable in your own skin. Maybe this is why her presence in the new Loewe campaign feels so powerful. It doesn’t just showcase fashion—it celebrates the authenticity, confidence, and individuality that have always defined her. A reminder that while trends come and go, genuine personal style endures. #anncarusostyle #styledbyme #anncaruso #sissyspacek #styledbyanncaruso
