I am constantly disappointed by the use of filters on beauty content but what is more disappointing is the comments from women asking what this creator is using to get such perfect skin. And the answer isn’t a product it’s a filter so that woman will spend her hard earned money on things only to be upset that it didn’t work! And this feeds the all influencers lie narrative. Real skin has texture. Pores. Fine lines. Redness. And that is normal. I am 44, I have rosacea and sensitive skin, and I show up here with no filter because I want you to see what real skin actually looks like.
