Hey y'all, it's SheRea! Back with another blog post, and this time we're diving headfirst into the shimmering world of Sephora's 2024 Holiday Savings Event! I know you're excited, so let's get right to it.

The sale kicks off on November 1st for our beloved ROUGE members, with everyone else joining the party shortly after. I'll make sure the exact dates are clearly posted at the top and bottom of this post so you don't miss out. But listen up, because this is important: the Sephora Collection itself will also be on sale starting November 1st, and trust me, you DO NOT want to sleep on this. We're talking 30% off already budget-friendly goodies. Honestly, the Sephora Collection usually offers the deepest discounts during these sales events. The non-Sephora Collection items max out at 20% off (or as low as 10%), so strategically plan your shopping spree!

Now, if you were already planning on treating yourself, why not support your girl while you're at it? Clicking my affiliate links (which I'll sprinkle throughout this post) truly helps support my work, especially during the busy holiday season. And if not me, definitely show some love to your other favorite creators – every click makes a difference. If you're new here and digging my vibe, be sure to subscribe! I appreciate the support more than you know.

For those of you who are seasoned veterans of my Sephora sale recommendations, you know the drill. My opinions generally stay pretty consistent. Unless I do a specific follow-up post, you can pretty much assume I still stand by the products I've recommended in the past, especially from my Spring Sephora recommendations post – still loving those goodies!

Okay, let's jump into the categories, starting with skincare. Ironically, my skin isn't looking its absolute best right now. I'm currently on a prescription retinoid called Tretinoin, and let me tell you, the peeling is REAL. Think reptile, think creature – it's a whole process. My forehead and cheeks are especially textured right now, so my skin isn't exactly "giving" what it normally gives. Just trust me, the girl knows what she's talking about when it comes to skincare, even if my current situation doesn't reflect it!

Skincare Saviors

Youth To The People Kale + Green Tea Spinacia Vitamin Superfood Cleanser

I've sung this cleanser's praises before, and I'll do it again. I've gone through so many bottles of this stuff! It's a cult favorite for a reason. While I don't usually splurge on cleansers (they literally go down the drain!), this one is worth every penny. The luxurious, gel-like texture feels amazing on the skin, and it lathers into a rich foam that effectively melts away makeup, sunscreen, and grime like magic. It leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed, and never stripped. The kale and green tea extracts provide antioxidant benefits, helping to protect against environmental damage. If you're looking for a cleanser that elevates your entire skincare routine, this is it. 10/10, highly recommend.

Cult-favorite cleanser with antioxidant benefits.

Pros
  • Luxurious texture, effective cleansing, antioxidant-rich.
Cons
  • Higher price point for a cleanser.

Sunscreen (because duh!)

Sunscreen is non-negotiable, people. It's the most crucial step in any skincare routine. I don't care how fancy your serums and moisturizers are, if you're skipping sunscreen, you're wasting your time.

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+

This CC cream is a multi-tasking marvel. It offers full coverage, color correction, hydration, and SPF 50+ protection all in one. It Cosmetics gifted me this product (full transparency!), but I wouldn't mention it if I didn't genuinely love it. I get a lot of PR, and most of it never sees the light of day because it doesn't impress me. This CC cream, however, is a game-changer. It melts into the skin beautifully, doesn't leave a white cast (it's a chemical sunscreen), and has a gorgeous, radiant finish. It might sting the eyes a bit if you're sensitive to American sunscreen filters, but for those who aren't, it's a winner. It's perfect for those days when you want a little extra coverage without the heaviness of foundation.

TULA Skin Care Protect + Glow Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30

For my glowy girlies! If you're oily, steer clear – this is not for you. But if you have balanced or dry skin and crave that radiant, lit-from-within glow, this is your holy grail. Tula recently sent me four super-sized tubes of this stuff, and I'm living my best shiny life. The lightweight gel formula absorbs quickly and leaves a dewy finish that looks incredible under makeup or on its own. It also contains probiotics and skincare ingredients like pineapple and papaya extracts to help brighten and improve skin tone.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex

Another product I've raved about countless times. This is my third bottle, which tells you everything you need to know. It's pricey, yes, but it's worth every single penny. I don't believe in breaking the bank for skincare, but this is one product I'll always splurge on. It makes my skin so supple and moisturized. The lightweight texture absorbs quickly, and I wake up with noticeably smoother, brighter, and more hydrated skin. If you want a "rich bitch" skincare moment, this is it. And no, this wasn't PR – I bought this baby with my own coins. This serum targets multiple signs of aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, and dullness, and it’s suitable for all skin types.

Hair Heroes

I don't shop for haircare at Sephora as often as skincare, but they've definitely expanded their selection for us curly girls.

Olaplex

I've talked about Olaplex to death, so I won't belabor the point. Just know that I love it, I ride for it, and I recommend the entire range. From the No. 3 Hair Perfector pre-shampoo treatment to the No. 8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask, Olaplex has transformed my hair, making it stronger, healthier, and more manageable. It's a must-have for anyone with color-treated or damaged hair.

Curl-defining and strengthening haircare set.

Pros
  • Strengthens, hydrates, defines curls.
Cons
  • None noted.

Fenty Hair The Comeback Kid Instant Damage Repair Treatment

This was another PR product that completely won me over. I can't speak to its bond-repairing claims (I don't believe products can actually mend split ends), but it makes my hair feel unbelievably smooth and soft. I use it as a primer before styling, and it's a game-changer. It detangles, reduces frizz, and adds shine without weighing my hair down. It's a bit pricey, so I prefer to leave it in rather than rinse it out. If you try nothing else from Fenty Hair, try this!

Pros

Cons

Sienna Naturals

I recently noticed that Sienna Naturals is now available at Sephora! Their deep conditioner is fantastic for protein-moisture balance, leaving my curls defined, hydrated, and bouncy. My top two favorites from the brand are the H.A.P.I. Shampoo and the Lock & Seal Hair Oil Split End Treatment. The H.A.P.I. Shampoo is incredibly moisturizing and provides amazing slip, making detangling a breeze. The Lock & Seal Hair Oil, while it won't actually fix split ends (you gotta snip those, sis!), is amazing for sealing, softening, and smoothing. The key ingredient is Shea Oil, which is a lighter, less tacky version of Shea Butter. If you haven't tried Shea Oil, you need this product in your life.

Body Bliss

Fenty Skin Cocoa Cleans'r & Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream Set

Okay, hear me out. I know everyone raves about the Butta Drop, but I actually prefer this set. The Cocoa Cleans'r gently cleanses without stripping the skin, and the lighter version of the Butta Drop included in this set melts into my skin better and leaves it feeling incredibly soft. If you have super dry skin, this might not be enough, but for those with balanced or well-moisturized skin, it's perfect. I've been using it even on cooler days, and my skin is never ashy. It truly feels like milk. I have a ton of body products, and this one is still a standout.

Pros
  • Gentle cleansing, hydrating, softening.
Cons
  • May not be enough for super dry skin.

Kiehl's Crème de Corps

If you're a dry skin girlie and nothing seems to work, this is your savior. It's one of the most moisturizing body lotions I've ever tried. This thick, luxurious cream absorbs quickly and provides long-lasting hydration. It's unscented, which is a plus for sensitive skin. This is my second bottle, and I highly recommend it for anyone struggling with dryness.

Pros
  • Long-lasting hydration, unscented, suitable for sensitive skin.

Murad Acne Control Retexturizing Body Pads

These pads are a game-changer for body acne. I get breakouts on my back and inner thighs, and these have cleared them up significantly. I use them twice a day on my thighs, and the difference is incredible. They contain salicylic acid, which helps to exfoliate and unclog pores, preventing breakouts. They're a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion. The only downside is that I wish my arms were longer so I could reach my back easier!

Pros

  • Pricey, difficult to reach back areas.

Makeup Must-Haves

I haven't been wearing much makeup lately due to some personal stuff and skin issues, so I don't have a ton of new recommendations. Check out my Spring makeup recommendations post for more ideas.

Sephora Collection (everything!)

Seriously, their makeup is amazing. The powders, bronzers, blushes, brushes, lip glosses – I haven't met a Sephora Collection product I didn't like. From their affordable yet high-quality brushes to their intensely pigmented eyeshadow palettes and long-lasting lip stains, the Sephora Collection offers incredible value. Stock up while it's on sale!

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder

This is my holy grail under-eye powder. It truly lives up to its name – airbrushed, flawless finish. It sets my concealer without creasing or looking cakey, and it blurs fine lines and pores for a smooth, perfected look. I'm debating whether to repurchase during the sale or try something new, but it's hard to resist. If you have a better recommendation for dry under-eyes, let me know!

InBeauty Project Bronze Face Glaze

I'm eating my words on this one. I initially didn't like this product, but after trying it again, I'm obsessed. It's perfect for no-makeup days when you want a bronzy, glowing boost. It makes my skin look so rich and goddess-like. The lightweight gel-cream formula blends seamlessly into the skin, providing a natural-looking bronze with a subtle shimmer. InBeauty Project definitely snapped with this one. My bad for the initial shade – I apologize!

That's all for now, folks! Let me know in the comments what your Sephora recommendations are. I'm always looking for new things to try, especially under-eye powders for dry skin. Don't forget to click those links and support your girl! Happy shopping, and I'll talk to y'all later. Be well! Bye!
