Hey y'all, it's SheRea! Back with another blog post, and this time, it's all about the Sephora 2024 Holiday Savings Event! I'm so excited to share my top recommendations with you, covering everything from skincare saviors to makeup must-haves.

The sale kicks off on November 1st for ROUGE members, with other tiers joining in shortly after. Don't forget, the Sephora Collection sale also starts on November 1st, offering a whopping 30% off their already affordable products. While the overall Sephora sale discounts might not be the deepest (max 20% off non-Sephora Collection items, minimum 10%), it's the perfect opportunity to snag some savings on products you've been eyeing.

For those of you new to my blog, welcome! I love sharing my honest product reviews and recommendations. If you enjoy this post, be sure to subscribe for more beauty content. And for my returning readers, thanks for sticking around! You know I keep it real, and my opinions haven't changed much since my spring recommendations. If you're curious, you can find links to my previous Sephora sale posts at the end of this blog.

Alright, let's dive into the good stuff!

Skincare Saviors (Even When My Skin Isn't Behaving)

Ironically, we're starting with skincare, even though my skin is currently staging a mini-revolt thanks to my prescription retinoid, Tretinoin. The peeling is REAL, y'all. My forehead and cheeks are especially textured right now, so my skin isn't exactly glowing. But trust me, I know my skincare. If you saw my last blog post, you know my skin was flawless. So, even though I'm currently shedding like a snake, believe me when I say, I know what I'm talking about.

Youth To The People Kale + Green Tea Spinich Vitamins Superfood Cleanser

I've gone through countless bottles of this cleanser, and it's a Sephora staple for a reason. I know cleansers literally go down the drain, so I'm usually hesitant to splurge, but this one is worth every penny. It creates a rich, luxurious lather that effectively melts away makeup, sunscreen, and daily grime without stripping my skin. The gentle formula, packed with antioxidants from kale, green tea, and spinach, leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed, and prepped for the rest of my routine. 10/10, highly recommend.

tl;dr

A gentle antioxidant cleanser that refreshes and preps the skin.

Pros
  • Rich lather, antioxidant-packed, non-stripping.
Cons
  • May be considered a splurge for a cleanser.

Sunscreen is Non-Negotiable

Listen up, because this is important: sunscreen is the MOST crucial step in any skincare routine. I don't care how fancy your moisturizer or serums are; if you're skipping sunscreen, you're wasting your time and money. Seriously.

It Cosmetics Hello Sunshine Invisible Sunscreen For Face SPF 50

This sunscreen was gifted to me by It Cosmetics, but I wouldn't be mentioning it if I didn't genuinely love it. I get sent a lot of PR, and most of it never sees the light of day. This one, however, is a winner. It's a chemical sunscreen that melts into the skin beautifully, leaving no white cast behind. The finish is gorgeous, creating a smooth, hydrated base for makeup. It's perfect for all skin types, but if you're sensitive to American sunscreens, this might sting your eyes a bit.

Tula Protect + Glow Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30

I've raved about this sunscreen on my blog and Instagram, and for good reason. Tula recently sent me four super-sized tubes, so you know I'm serious. This one is for my glowy girlies. If you're oily, steer clear! But if you have balanced or dry skin and crave that lit-from-within radiance, this is your holy grail. The gel formula is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving a dewy finish that enhances your natural glow. It's like a highlighter in a bottle!

  • Lightweight, dewy finish, enhances natural glow.
Cons
  • Not suitable for oily skin.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Multi-Recovery Complex Serum with Hyaluronic Acid

This is my third bottle, which tells you everything you need to know. It's pricey, yes, but it's worth every single penny. I don't believe in breaking the bank for skincare, but this serum is a splurge I'll always make room for. This serum is a powerhouse of hydration and repair. The hyaluronic acid plumps and hydrates my skin, while the patented Chronolux™ Power Signal Technology helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I wake up with smoother, more radiant skin every time I use it. This wasn't PR, by the way. I bought this with my own hard-earned cash, and I'll repurchase it again and again.

Hair Heroes (Because That's What Y'all Came For)

Sephora's haircare selection has definitely expanded, but I'm still working my way through my current stash. I do have a few favorites to share, though.

Olaplex (Duh)

I mean, it's Olaplex. Need I say more? I have a whole blog post dedicated to my favorite Olaplex products, so check that out if you're curious. I ride hard for Olaplex, especially No. 3 Hair Perfector and No. 8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask. They've transformed my dry, damaged hair.

Fenty Hair The Comeback Kid Instant Damage Repair Hair Treatment

This was sent to me as PR, and I initially liked it, but after continued use, I've fallen head over heels. I can't speak to the bond-repairing claims (I don't believe any product can truly mend split ends), but this treatment makes my hair feel unbelievably smooth and soft. I use it as a primer before styling, applying it to damp hair from root to tip. It detangles, smooths frizz, and adds shine, creating the perfect canvas for any hairstyle. It's a bit pricey, so I prefer to leave it in rather than rinsing it out. If you try nothing else from Fenty Hair, try this.

Fenty Hair Gift Sets

If you're not ready to commit to full-sized Fenty Hair products, the gift sets are a great option. The Mini Maintenance Crew Universal Hair Start'R Kit includes travel sizes of the shampoo, conditioner, Comeback Kid, and heat protectant. There's also a set with The Comeback Kid and the Curl Defining Cream, which are my two favorite Fenty Hair products. These sets are perfect for trying out the line without breaking the bank.

Fenty Hair Mini Maintenance Crew Universal Hair Start'R Kit

tl;dr

Travel-sized Fenty Hair starter kit.

Pros
  • Includes multiple products, travel-friendly.
Cons
  • Limited product sizes.

Sienna Naturals

I recently noticed Sienna Naturals is now available at Sephora! The H.A.P.I. Shampoo is fantastic for moisturizing and detangling, while the Deep Conditioner provides the perfect protein-moisture balance. The Lock & Seal Hair Oil Split End Treatment is amazing for sealing, softening, and smoothing the ends. It features Shea Oil, a lightweight, non-tacky alternative to Shea Butter. If you haven't tried Shea Oil, you need this product in your life.

Body Bliss (Because We Deserve It)

Topicals Butta Drop Hydrating Body Milk

Okay, this might be an unpopular opinion, but I prefer this to the original Butta Drop. It melts into the skin more easily, feels lighter, and leaves my skin incredibly soft. If you have extremely dry skin, this might not be enough, but for those with balanced or well-moisturized skin, it's perfect. It truly feels like milk, absorbing quickly without any greasy residue. It keeps my skin hydrated and ash-free, even in changing weather. If you need extra moisture, you can always layer it with an oil. This one is seriously underrated.

Cons

Kiehl's Crème de Corps Refillable Hydrating Body Lotion with Squalane

This is my second bottle, and it's a lifesaver for dry skin. If nothing else works for you, try this. It's intensely moisturizing, providing long-lasting hydration even in the harshest winter conditions. The rich, creamy formula absorbs easily, leaving skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished. The refillable bottle is also a plus for the environment.

  • Long-lasting hydration, refillable bottle.
Cons
  • None mentioned.

Murad Acne Control Retexturizing Body Pads with Salicylic Acid

I get PR from Murad, and I wasn't expecting much from these pads, but they've blown me away. I struggle with acne on my back and inner thighs, and these pads have made a noticeable difference in just two weeks. My inner thighs are so much smoother, and the acne has practically disappeared. The salicylic acid exfoliates and clarifies, while the witch hazel soothes and calms inflammation. The only downside is the price, but with the Sephora sale discount, it's worth a try. I'll definitely be repurchasing this with my own money. If you have body acne, give these a shot.

Makeup Must-Haves (A Few Quick Picks)

I haven't been wearing much makeup lately due to some personal stuff and skin struggles, so I don't have a ton of new recommendations. Check out my spring makeup recommendations blog post for more in-depth suggestions.

Sephora Collection

Everything is good. Seriously. Powders, bronzers, blushes, brushes, lip glosses, concealers…it's all amazing. I haven't tried everything, but I haven't met a Sephora Collection makeup product I didn't like. Their quality is consistently impressive, especially considering the affordable price point. Stock up while it's on sale!

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder

This is my holy grail under-eye powder. It makes my under-eyes look airbrushed and flawless, even when they're dry and peeling. The finely milled powder blurs imperfections and sets concealer without creasing or caking. It creates a smooth, matte finish that lasts all day. I'm debating whether to repurchase during the sale or try something new, but it's hard to resist. If you have a better under-eye powder recommendation, let me know!

InBeauty Project Bronze Face Glaze Gel Cream with Squalane, Ceramides & Hyaluronic Acid

I publicly dissed this product before, and I'm here to apologize. I didn't like it when I first bought it, but after receiving it as PR, I've completely changed my mind. It's perfect for no-makeup days when I want a bronzy, goddess-like glow. It takes my skincare glow to the next level, adding a subtle warmth and radiance to my complexion. The formula is hydrating and nourishing, thanks to the squalane, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid. If you get pale in the winter, this is a must-have. InBeauty Project snapped with this product, and I take back everything I said.

That's all for now, folks! Let me know your Sephora sale recommendations in the comments below. I'm always looking for new products to try, especially under-eye powders for dry skin. Thanks for reading, and happy shopping!
